“For over two decades, Mohnke Janowicz Funeral Home has helped our large extended family through many losses with incredible care and compassion. When my brother passed away in January 2025, I was actually four and a half hours away and feeling quite anxious about how everything would be handled. The team went above and beyond: Mike promptly went to pick my brother up, treated him with the utmost dignity and respect, and kept me informed every step of the way. They personally called me let me know exactly when he was ready to be brought home. I couldn't have asked for a more compassionate and professional experience during such a difficult time. Five stars truly isn't enough to express my gratitude.”

“I lost a childhood friend at the end of January 2025. My friend had no arrangements made and his death was unexpected and sudden. In my desperation to get his affairs in order days before his demise, I was scrambling to take care of his affairs as executor of his estate. I didn't have time to make appointments but could only make last minute visits at various businesses to handle his estate. One of these visits was to Mohnke Janowicz Funeral Home, Big Rapids. Under much stress and anguish I was greeted warmly and was able to make arrangements on the spot. I feel truly blessed to have had this funeral home help me with the burden of cremation arrangements, in such an expeditious manner. The staff was very sympathetic to my needs and my emotional state. I would highly recommend them to family and friends. ”
